  10. Well I just got 2 evaluation Penril ALX v.34 modems, and I just want to 
  11. say .. DAMN!!!.. they are HUGE !!! they are bigger then a cereal box!! I 
  12. could use them as a shoe box!!! .. and As for preformance... as far as I 
  13. can tells frm my testing, they don't keep a steady throughput.. but that 
  14. was from a PPP connection... I'm gonna try a normal dial-up momdem to 
  15. modem with no  protocal .. and just see how it does with Z-modem...

  17. I'm also not testing Penril to Penril.. just Penril to PP/USR right now 
  18. since most of our customers are using USr and we use PP... and they are 
  19. $500 each :P.. I think they should redesign them!
